Position Summary: Operates KILN Lines in accordance with established procedures on our C-Shift and D-Shift
Pay is $16/hr.-days or $17/hr-nites with opportunity to increase to up to $17.50 to $18.50 within 15 months.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates Kilns in accordance with established procedures.
Ensures acceptable levels of production are met and quality standards are consistently achieved.
Regularly inspects product to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
Maintains work area in a neat, orderly, and safe condition.
Makes modifications to kiln as needed to correct production and/or quality issues.
Alerts supervisor to any problems with production levels and/or quality standards.
May operate forklift as needed.
Performs change of size in Kiln equipment as needed.
Changes controls to ensure proper temperature has been reset.
Maintains production and quality control logs as required by established procedures.
Comply with safety regulations (OSHA and Company) and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications:
1 years of manufacturing experience desired.
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
Must be able to life and move objects up to 60 pounds consistently with heavier weights as necessary at times.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, may be exposed to higher than normal temperature levels. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. |
Salary : $18 - $19
