Position Summary: Operates Glazing Lines in accordance with established procedures on our D-Shift. Pay is $16.60/hr. with opportunity to increase to up to $18.10 within 15 months.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates Glazing Lines in accordance with established procedures.
Controls glaze and materials to ensure compliance with standards – density, viscosity and look/appearance.
Performs sample test using standard operating procedures.
Visually inspects products; comparing product to original “sample” and works to resolve any discrepancies.
Operates forklift as needed.
Operates lines to ensure efficiency and production standards are being met.
Ensures acceptable levels of production are met and quality standards are consistently achieved.
Regularly inspects product to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
Maintains work area in a neat, orderly, and safe condition.
Makes modifications to glazing lines as needed to correct production and/or quality issues.
Alerts supervisor to any problems with production levels and/or quality standards.
Maintains production and quality control logs as required by established procedures.
Comply with safety regulations (OSHA and Company) and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications:
1 years of manufacturing experience desired.
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 60 pounds consistently with heavier weights as necessary at times.
