Provide the teaching of ESL in compliance with Texas Adult Education and Literacy Content Standards while integrating civics, and jobs skills into lesson delivery. Helps adult learners meet their educational, personal, and professional goals while building strong community in the classroom.Conduct student orientation and testing independently, and monitor student progress in line with grant requirements. Ensure weekly submission of student documents. Requires occasional in-person training at Del Mar College Heritage Campus.Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor Degree in Education or related field.One (1) year teaching experience in reading, writing, mathematics, and English language acquisition.Preferred Qualifications : Two years direct teaching experience in ESL.
