Job Overview

This position performs a variety of administrative and office support tasks for the Public Safety Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service: Provides excellent customer service by answering questions promptly and accurately.
  2. Scheduling Support: Organizes appointments, meetings, conference calls and video calls.
  3. Filing and Organization: Files and organizes documents and records in various electronic and physical filing systems.
  4. Event Support: Prepares event folders, updates department directories, develops tracking spreadsheets, and assists with preparing and distributing incident reports.
  5. Lost and Found: Maintains and tracks records for lost and found items, stores items in a secure location, and promptly returns items to their owners.
  6. Supply Management: Maintains supply inventory and purchases supplies as needed.
  7. Contract Support: Assists with gathering and preparing required documents for contracts, submits requests, and tracks contract progress.
  8. Purchasing and Contract Records: Tracks and maintains purchasing and contract records and assists with preparing budget projections.
