Job Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer/Project Manager at Del Medical, you will play a dual role—designing electrical systems for medical devices and managing the full lifecycle of engineering projects. Your expertise will ensure the development of high-quality, compliant, and innovative products, while your leadership will drive successful project delivery on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Engineering: Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components for medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical, software, and quality engineering teams to integrate electrical systems into broader device designs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet FDA, CE, and ISO standards for medical devices.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure the highest quality and functionality of medical devices.
- Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and regulatory submissions as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on medical devices (or similar regulated industries).
- 2 years of project management experience, preferably in a technical field.
- Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., Altium, OrCAD).
- Solid understanding of medical device industry standards, including IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- PMP certification (or similar) is a plus but not required.
