Del Medical, a leading provider of innovative medical imaging solutions, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Fabrication Shop General Laborer to join our dynamic team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our fabrication process, ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality medical imaging products.
Responsibilities:

- Safely handle and transport raw materials within the fabrication shop.
- Organize materials for easy accessibility by fabricators.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist in routine maintenance tasks for equipment and tools.
- Support fabricators by transporting materials and holding components during assembly.
- Assist in measuring and cutting materials, preparing workpieces for welding.
- Operate basic machinery, such as saws, grinders, and drills, under the guidance of skilled fabricators.
- Inspect fabricated parts for quality, checking measurements, and ensuring products meet specifications.
- Safely load and unload materials and finished products from trucks, preventing damage.
- Work closely with fabricators to assemble components or products according to specifications.
- Collect and dispose of waste and scrap materials in accordance with company guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fabrication or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and material handling.
- Ability to operate basic tools and machinery.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
