What You’ll Do:
- Inspect and Verify Quality: Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Quality Inspection Machine: Solid working knowledge utilizing laser quality control machines (Virtek)
- Flat Blank Layout Inspections: Review flat blank layouts for accuracy, ensuring that dimensions and tolerances align with production requirements.
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with production teams to address quality concerns and make necessary adjustments to prevent defects.
- Document & Report: Record inspection results, create reports on non-conformities, and track quality metrics for continuous improvement.
- Ensure Compliance: Follow industry standards and internal protocols to guarantee the highest level of quality and safety.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience as a quality inspector or in a similar manufacturing role is a must. Experience in the metalworking industry is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of inspection methods and measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges). You should also be comfortable reading technical drawings and flat blank layouts.
- Attention to Detail: You must have a keen eye for identifying defects or inconsistencies, even the smallest ones.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and recommend effective solutions, ensuring minimal production downtime.
- Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with production and engineering teams.
- Safety-Focused: Knowledge of safety regulations and practices within a manufacturing environment.
