Responsibilities:

The Analytics & BI Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing operations through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making. The position will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations. This role requires a strong blend of analytical skills, business acumen, and manufacturing expertise to drive continuous improvement and maximize performance across the manufacturing network.

This position can be fully remote and located in the following states: AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, NC, NE, NJ, NV, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI.

Data Analysis and Strategize:

• Gather and analyze data from various sources within manufacturing.
• Deliver key outcomes and strategies from the data analysis.
• Utilize statistical techniques and advanced analytics to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing performance.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and service level improvement within the manufacturing network.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall manufacturing agility.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

• Lead cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing organization.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in manufacturing analytics and business intelligence.
• Become the PowerBI and Analytics expert and leader within manufacturing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, finance, and IT, to gather requirements and develop data-driven solutions that address business needs.
• Function as a liaison between different departments to ensure alignment and coordination of manufacturing initiatives with broader organizational goals.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination across functional areas to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
• Consumer products experience a plus.
• Proven experience in manufacturing analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Incorta, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Knowledge of manufacturing concepts, processes, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive initiatives to completion.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
