The salary range for this role is:
$30.10 - $36.75Responsibilities:
- Ensure product safety through enforcement of company policy and regulatory standards.
- Enforce company quality standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs on all plant electrical systems in conformance with established codes.
- Assist with other mechanical maintenance and construction jobs as directed.
- Assist in the ordering and maintenance of adequate electrical supplies and parts to sustain continuous plant operation.
- Advise supervisor of electrical hazards and impending electrical problems.
- Maintain good housekeeping habits.
- Assist with the planning and lay out and installation of complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in conformance with established codes; install switches and controls, central and subsidiary control panels, and other gear incidental to the installation.
- Understand and use all required electrical measuring and testing devices.
- Promote, monitor, and ensure compliance with plant and department safety policies.
- Work from a general assignment and complete project with minimal direction, while reporting directly to the Utility Shift Supervisor and Production Supervisor
- During the production season the incumbent reports directly to the Production Supervisor and/or Shift Supervisor on that shift
- Food Safety & Quality Responsibilities includes ensuring product safety through enforcement of company policy and regulatory standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Post high school electrical training or equivalent.
- The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ hands-on electrical food manufacturing experience
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and read electrical schematics.
- PLC experience strongly preferred, but not required.
- Working knowledge of NEC/National Electric Code.
- Must provide assortment of own tools to perform assigned tasks.
- Workable knowledge with a wide variety of tools
- Good written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Computer experience helpful, math skills preferred.
- Capable of passing specified electrical classes as determined by the company.
