Del Monte Foods is looking for a Director Supply Chain Finance to help lead a best-in-class Finance organization responsible for financial reporting, planning, analysis and strategy, focusing on our Procurement and Logistics Departments, and working closely with our supply planning (PPIC/Production, Planning & Inventory Control) department on inventory projections and forecast. The Director Supply Chain Finance works cross functionally and has a deep understanding of key business drivers, metrics, and insights to deliver business results. The ideal candidate should have proven results in driving process improvement.

- Financial Strategy & Planning
- Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with overall business goals.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for supply chain and logistics
- operations.
- Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for financial improvement.
- Cost Optimization & Profitability
- Drive initiatives to reduce supply chain and logistics costs without compromising efficiency or service levels.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as transportation and warehousing expenses, and cost per unit.
- Conduct make-or-buy analyses and evaluate outsourcing opportunities.
- Operation Efficiency & Decision Support
- Partner with operations teams to align financial goals with supply chain objectives.
- Provide actionable insights for decisions related to inventory management, procurement, and logistics network optimization.
- Lead financial evaluations for technology, automation, and infrastructure investments.
- Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify and mitigate financial risks related to global supply chain disruptions, currency fluctuations, and regulatory changes.
- Ensure compliance with financial and operational policies on a global scale.
- Develop robust financial reporting systems to provide transparency into supply chain performance.
- Drive adoption of advanced technology to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Analyze financial trends and variances to guide executive decision-making.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Lead and mentor finance teams dedicated to procurement and logistics functions.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Sales and other departments to align on financial
- objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency within the Finance function.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- MBA or CPA preferred.
- 7-10 years’ experience in accounting or “transaction heavy” finance role.
- Experience leading diverse teams in multi-site locations.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide decision support.
- Functional/technical proficiency in SAP, Business Planning Platform, and BI.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead teams.
- Financial management experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of supply chain (Procurement, Transportation, Warehousing and Manufacturing).
- Solid understanding of cost/supply chain accounting principles (in CPG industry).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines
