What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst, Product Loss Recovery position at Del Monte Fresh Produce Company NA Inc?
Purpose of Position:
Track financial losses of contracted and spot purchased grower product related to poor quality at the ports, DC/FCO’s, and at customer delivery.
Accountabilities:
- Work with NA QA and Operations to confirm the root cause of the quality related loss can be attributed to the contracted grower.
- Gather and provide all necessary documents and information necessary and provide to CECAB production and/or sourcing teams to ensure recovery of losses from contracted growers.
- Follow up and track, on a case by case basis, the loss amount and recovered amount and provide regular reports to company leadership of amounts claimed and recovered.
- Contribute to implementing and improving processes to prevent future losses and ensure accurate financial recovery.
- Perform other duties as needed/assigned.
Minimum Skills Required:
- College degree or experience equivalent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Experience in Oracle system.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
