Purpose of Position :
This position will be a valued member of the National Convenience Store Sales team with :
Assigned account responsibilities
Ability to work closely with our national network of processing facilities and distribution centers on any issues or opportunities pertaining to Convenience Store customers.
Accountabilities :
Communicate with customers on all aspects of orders processed; production, documents required, final delivery and billing info
Must understand overall company sales priorities and work in a collaborative way to support the highest overall company profitability
Manage select accounts and provide backup capacity to handle accounts when shorthanded.
Work with internal and external departments to resolve issues (i.e. payment deductions, service level disputes, quality concerns, etc.) and be able to report on resolution.
Minimum Skills Required :
Must be a team player with a can-do attitude
5 years in the food industry
Experience working with convenience stores, foodservice distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to work with customers and team members at all levels
General understanding of receivables and deductions
College Degree (in a related field) from an accredited institution, and / or equivalent work experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) – SAP and Power BI a plus.
