We are a multi-discipline ophthalmology practice located in Monmouth and Ocean counties and we are hiring full time and part time ! This is a great practice for candidates with experience, someone in college or someone who wants to try a new field. Learn a healthcare career that will last a lifetime!
Job duties include recording patient history, visioning, dilating and taking pressure. Knowledge of OCT, Humphrey Visual Field, ASCAN, Pentacam and Auto refracting a plus.
We will train the right candidate! Ideal applicant will be patient, compassionate, detail oriented, smart and able to work in a fast paced environment.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Summary
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care in an ophthalmology setting. Reporting to the lead ophthalmologist, your role involves performing diagnostic tests, assisting with examinations, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Your core skills in medical terminology and anatomy, combined with premium skills in patient care and HIPAA compliance, will be essential for success.
