The job of Expanded Learning Specialist is done for the purpose/s of providing daily supervision of afterschool program participants in grades K-8. The expanded learning specialist is responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of all program components and program activities in the expanded learning program. The Del Norte Unified School District and County Office of Education is a combined District and COE.

The Del Norte County Unified School District is located on the northern California coast, where the redwoods meet the sea. Applicants must have a total of 1 year of education and/or experience in any of the following areas: behavioral science, social service, education related area, classroom experience, or a similar function relating to the minimum qualification's skills, knowledge, and abilities of the classification.
