Python and Golang Developer

Rate : $55-$60 / hr on a W2, Ongoing Contract, Remote

Del Oro Consulting, a nationwide consulting firm with over 20 years of experience providing strategic solutions to leading global technology companies in the U.S., is looking for a highly skilled AI / Python Software Developer with exposure to Golang and expertise in web scraping to support our client, a major tech industry leader.

The ideal candidate is a Python expert with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and a proven track record of building efficient, scalable data extraction and processing solutions. This role requires both independent problem-solving and the ability to collaborate effectively on complex projects while adhering to best coding practices. Experience with AI / ML, cloud platforms like AWS, and application development using tools such as Streamlit is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain web scraping tools and data processing scripts.
Build and optimize web scraping solutions and data processing pipelines to extract and manage information effectively.
Develop high-quality, well-structured Python code, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and maintainability.
Collaborate with the team to conceptualize, develop, and enhance features that improve system performance.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical challenges and performance issues in a timely manner.
Research and incorporate emerging technologies and best practices to enhance project capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Expertise in Python programming with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles and best practices.

Familiarity with Golang programming is also desired.

Proven experience in web scraping and data extraction, utilizing industry-standard tools and frameworks.

Hands-on experience with vector databases, optimizing data storage and retrieval for performance.

Knowledge of AI / ML concepts and cloud platforms like AWS (preferred), with the ability to integrate them into solutions.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.

Adaptability and eagerness to learn, staying current with emerging technologies and methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a software developer with a focus on Python and Golang.

Demonstrated experience in AI-related projects (preferred).

Details of Position :

Work Arrangement : Remote

55-$60 / hour, Consultant, Ongoing Contract Opportunity on W2
