Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing exceptional guest services throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all orders are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations during food preparation and service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a server role within a fine dining setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create positive interactions with customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail in order taking and service delivery.
