CT Technologist II PRN
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled CT Technologist II PRN to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center, part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for creating positive patient interactions. As a CT Technologist II PRN, you will operate Cat Scan equipment, position patients to produce diagnostic radiographs, and perform related duties under general supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Cat Scan equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs of cardio-pulmonary, vascular, neuro, GI, GU, GYN, skeletal/muscular conditions and diseases.
- Position patients to produce desired radiographic images while maintaining a safe environment.
- Perform reconstruction and special processing of data, as well as clerical tasks such as inputting/editing exams and completion of requisition prior to setting films to be read.
- Record and maintain data on magnetic disc, tape, PACS, and logs, ensuring accurate identification of film and radiological factors.
Requirements:
- Texas Medical Board certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to examine radiographs for evaluation techniques, positions, and other related qualities.
