Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Step Down team. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare delivery team, including physicians, to deliver quality healthcare.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account each patient's unique needs and preferences.
Requirements
- RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
- BCLS certification upon hire or one time grace period of 60 days for staff transitioning from med surge unit to progressive care unit.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU or Step Down environment.
