Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a CT Tech II PRN to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center, part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.
About Us
Del Sol Medical Center is a full-service, acute-care hospital in east El Paso, Texas, with 300 patient beds and a range of services including emergency care, cardiac care, women's services, Level III NICU, rehabilitation, a bariatric clinic, and a Minimally Invasive Surgery Center.
Responsibilities
- Operates Cat Scan equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs in a safe manner.
- Positions patients for each examination, adjusts equipment as needed.
- Performs reconstruction and special processing of data.
- Closely observes patients, performs first aid when necessary, confers with physician when requested exams appear at odds with the patient's condition.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness, including provision for the contamination-free condition of rooms, equipment, and personnel.
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification.
- Texas Medical Board certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist.
- Current CPR certification.
- ARRT (CT) Credential.
