Shift Leader

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a positive work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, particularly in coffee and food service management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, training new employees, and ensuring that all operational standards are met.

STARTING PAY - $15 up to 17 based on experience and availability.

3$ for Graveyard 11p - 5a

• Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.
• Manage team performance by providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills in food preparation and customer service.
• Assist in budgeting processes to maintain financial health of the shift.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food service environment.
• Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the food industry or hospitality sector.
• Strong background in food service management, including knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop staff effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on team management and motivation.
• Familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus, enhancing the overall customer experience.
