As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for conducting on-site investigations, collecting and analyzing data, and providing technical support for geotechnical and environmental projects. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field investigations, including soil sampling, drilling, and testing, in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Assist with geotechnical and environmental monitoring, including groundwater sampling, site inspections, and instrumentation setup.
- Record, analyze, and document field data accurately for use in engineering reports.
- Operate and maintain field equipment, such as drilling rigs, GPS devices, and soil testing instruments.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times.
- Organize field activities and maintain accurate records to support smooth project execution.
- Work outdoors in variable weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, when necessary.
- Travel to various project sites within the region as required.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Will train the right candidate who is eager to learn
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with field equipment.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working on uneven terrain, in confined spaces, and at construction sites.
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
