Delan Associates is looking for ITS professionals Application Developer for our client located in the New York City area.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Location: Must live in the New York City area
Contract Period of Performance: 1-3 years long (1 year with (two) additional years to renew)
Overview:
The company ITS is a full-service provider of information technology services. ITS provides the company with centralized network services that will encompass, but will not be limited to, systems development / design, security analysis, information processing, telecommunications and data center support services, data communications infrastructure, platform hosting, an e-mail system, internet and intranet access data security and exchange, desktop/client support, help desk, project management, applications development and quality assurance.
The company’s hardware and software platforms include, but are not limited to, IBM and UNISYS mainframe, Microsoft Windows client servers and SUN/UNIX.
ITS requires assignments to be completed within a specific time frame provided by ITS during normal work hours. The consultants assigned to these positions may be asked to work off-hours, weekends, or holidays. ITS estimates the various assignments associated with a position will be worked simultaneously and will be required over the life of the contract.
PROJECT NAME: Critical Infrastructure Support Initiatives
HRA JOB TITLE: Application Developer
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Critical Infrastructure support initiative entails the design, installation, customization, testing, and implementation of several enhancements to the Agency's Network, and Data Center infrastructure environments. These infrastructure related updates are crucial for the efficient maintenance and functioning of the network infrastructure, supporting the Network related security controls such as Switches, Firewalls, IDS, IPS, Proxy servers, etc., as well as its security components in the Data Center, Remote sites, as well as external entities (OTI, NYS, etc.)
Tasks & Duties
- Develop System Design
- Design of Call flows, Call routing solutions, Automated scripts, Test scenarios and Process evaluations.
- Develops structured functional diagrams for the database specifications, client server communication systems and CTI screen pop integrations.
- Develops specifications for databases, communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage and software configurations.
- Develops and maintains PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in Oracle 12c.
- Technical and Requirement Gap Analysis of New/Existing requirements for the modules/applications.
- Contributes to functional design to drive out technical details.
- Develop system documentation
- Develops operational and installation procedures for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage and software.
- Develops guidelines and upgrade techniques of new operational procedures for the support of databases, hardware systems, operating systems software, network systems software, security and client server systems.
- Develops and prepares documents for the general design of solutions that meet system and security requirements, including the selection of alternative approaches.
- Develops, compiles, maintains and documents configurations of the following: databases, servers, computers, security and network monitor systems, packaged programs, macros, utilities, and communication systems.
- Perform System Coding
- Creates the program code in .NET environment.
- Builds and deploys applications using Web Based application tools and IVRS Telephony build tools in different environments.
- Develops and supports caller telephone interface applications that consume web services to display clients real time information. Designs reports, audit trails/logs, security mechanisms.
- Works with ITS staff (Managers, Senior Programmers, Support Staff, Product Manager) to plan program code implementation, enhancements, and changes.
- Coordination within support teams for Business as usual and during the critical phases.
- Provides general programming assistance to other ITS programmers/projects as may be needed.
- Tests and maintains the program code to make sure it meets all the functional requirements.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 Years Experience with development, support and administration of Contact Centers such as Nice InContact CXone, Genesys or similar experience.
- Minimum 4 Years Experience with Development and Maintenance of PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in Oracle 12c.
- Minimum 4 Years Experience with Performance Tuning including tuning/optimizing SQL, PL/SQL code.
- Minimum 4 Years Experience working with XML Processing, Object oriented programming with large objects.
- Minimum 4 Years Experience with data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation.
- Minimum 4 Years Experience with technical and user documentation, software conversion.
