PRIMARY FUNCTION : The Driver is responsible for safely transporting vehicles between dealership location, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate paperwork.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION / DUTIES :
- Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damage before leaving with a vehicle or accepting a vehicle and report any damage to the Service Manager immediately.
- Safely drive and transport vehicles between dealership locations in a timely manner.
- Ensure all paperwork, including delivery receipts and vehicle transfer documentation, is accurately completed, and submitted on time.
- Ensure the vehicle is properly fueled and maintained.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while on the road, including rules of the road.
- Drives to and from the dealership in a timely manner.
- Ensures vehicles are picked up at scheduled time.
- Maintains constant communication with the sales manager.
- Must follow all company safety policies and practices.
- Assist with other dealership duties as needed, including organizing inventory.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Maintains high ethical standards.
