(DCS), a leading Managed IT Services Provider based in Northern New Jersey, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Operations Analyst to manage and resolve complex billing issues. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate invoicing and providing clarity to our clients regarding their service charges.

- Billing Management: Oversee the billing process for consumable services such as Microsoft 365, cloud backups, and other SaaS products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- System Utilization: Utilize Autotask and other relevant platforms to track and reconcile service usage and associated costs.
- Cost Analysis: Continuously audit agreements to ensure billing accuracy and cost control across a wide range of software services, including security stacks and licensing management.
- Client Communication: Clearly explain complex invoices to clients, breaking down bundled services and addressing any queries or concerns.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing procedures and enhance clarity in invoicing.
- Licensing Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software licensing, ensuring compliance and accurate cost allocation.
- Continuous Monitoring: Regularly evaluate billing data and vendor agreements to identify discrepancies and implement corrections proactively.
- Proven experience in billing operations, preferably within the IT or Managed Services sector.
- Familiarity with Autotask or similar Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear client communications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience in managing billing for SaaS products and understanding of variable IT service costs.
- Background in finance or accounting within a technology-focused company.
- Familiarity with software licensing and cost control practices.
