Project Designer | Project Architect | Partnership potential

Delano Architecture is seeking a Project Designer or Project Architect to join our team. For the right candidate, this position could also develop into a Partnership opportunity. This exceptional individual will have 5 years of experience designing and detailing modern residential buildings, both single family and multi-family. We are a thriving boutique architecture firm in Southern Maine focused on creating beautiful spaces that connect people together and with nature. We have a flexible work environment with a highly collaborative design and production process. We value relationships, work-life balance, creative thinking, invention, determined thought and a desire to be better today than we were yesterday.

Responsibilities:

        From idea generation, modeling and client presentations to construction drawings and site administration, marketing, and business development. This role is for self-starting leaders who love the potential in architecture and want work variety throughout the week.

         

Requirements:

           Professional education in the field of architecture, B.Arch or M.Arch is required.

5 years of experience designing and managing custom residential projects

           Proficient in Sketchup, Adobe Suite, Autocad and Archicad

Experience with Enscape and Vray rendering software.

           Solid knowledge of building science and construction assemblies for Type V construction.

           Experience designing and detailing wood buildings

Strong writing and communication skills are a must

Strong graphic and lettering skills are also a must.
