The Mobile RV Specialty Technician will perform specialized repairs and maintenance for travel trailers, 5th wheels, and motorized

Duties/Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.
- Performs tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function; ensures that all critical parts are examined.
- Communicate additional service requests to service advisor
- Plan work in cooperation with shop foreman
- Provide labor estimates to service advisor
- Monitor repair time and update service advisor
- Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
- Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
- Keep current with factory technical bulletins
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
- Perform warranty repairs as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Ability to professionally communicate with customers while on site
- Knowledge of the specialized area and general repairs.
- Excellent mechanical repair skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues.
- Ability to read service and repair manuals.
- Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.
- Ability to read work requests, ensuring the scope of work requested meets customer expectation.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Three years of related experience recommended.
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to work safely in areas with space constraints
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. regularly.
- Must be able to inspect vehicles to determine repairs needed.
- Good vision to inspect repair work.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
