To maintain the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of all dishes used by the staff for serving food to our customers.
- Operates and maintains the dishwashing machine.
- Fills holding containers completely with the correct dishes and rinses them before putting them in the machine.
- Changes cutlery cleaning solution every two hours and stacks the supply neatly.
- Keeps work area, hallways, and walk-in coolers clean by sweeping, mopping, cleaning surfaces, and emptying garbage.
- Assists in special maintenance when required.
- Assists in basic kitchen food preparation as necessary
- Follows general procedures listed in Chef’s office.
- Keeps work area thoroughly clean at all times.
- Maintains station and work areas in a sanitary condition.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Steward and/or Sous Chef and/or Executive chef.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not necessary
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; kneel, crouch, or crawl; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The position is indoors; and is exposed to hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet.
