Greet guests and checking them into the resort and checking them out
- Check-in and checkout guests.
- Approve and process all forms of payment.
- Assist guests with directions, reservations, general information and any special requests.
- Enter and retrieve information re: room rates, billing, etc. on computer system.
- Possesses knowledge of all resort services.
- Assign rooms.
- Convey rates and packages information to guests.
- Follow all emergency/fire procedures.
- Answer phone and provide requested information or service and follow through to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Be sensitive to potential guest problems and take preventative action.
- Prepare, run and distribute reports.
- Review daily reservations.
- Maintain good communication with Housekeeping department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager and/or Front Office Supervisor.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service experience, preferred but not necessary
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
The position is indoors; and is exposed to hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time either sitting and/or on their feet.
