Prepares food items in the Garde Manger cold kitchen for banquets, Restaurant Kitchen production, Cafe, employee cafeteria and catered events. At times may be required to work the pantry station for a la carte service.
- Assists in all levels of cold food production.
- Prepares food items according to the BEO for banquet functions.
- Follows the established guidelines for menu and recipes.
- Maintains a superior quality level of food production at all times.
- Prepares food according to established timelines and deadlines.
- Maintains station and work areas in a sanitary condition at all times.
- Utilizes a clean as you go approach to preparations.

- Must be 18 years or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years food handling and preparation
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and distance vision.
The position is indoors; and is exposed to cold, damp, humid and/or hot conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet.
