A Room Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of guestrooms.
- Cleans entire bedroom area according to established procedure which includes changing linen, vacuum and dusting.
- Cleans entire bathroom area according to established procedure to include changing soiled towels out and emptying garbage cans.
- Replenish all guestroom supplies according to established levels.
- Reports all repairs needed in guestrooms to the Housekeeping Inspector.
- Brings all items found in vacant rooms immediately to the Housekeeping Inspector.
- Reports the status of rooms as they are completed to the Floor Inspector.
- Returns equipment and supplies to the proper storage areas.
- Follows proper safety, security and hospitality procedures.
- Respond to guest requests, needs and changes, and relay guest comments.

Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred, but not necessary
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The position is indoors, and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and chemicals. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet.
