Note all applicants must live within 45min of our dock in Slaughter Beach, DE.

Currently accepting applications for an immediate opening as a Deckhand. Entry level position starts at $38,000 - $40,000 per year salary. Applicants possessing a 100t Masters License will start at a higher rate. This position will be starting out on a schedule of Mon-Fri 0800-1700 with Overtime as needed. Other schedules listed below could be required in the future.

Duties include but not limited to:

· Assisting passengers on and off the vessel.

· Tying up bags & boxes ship side.

· Vessel cleaning, painting & general maintenance.

· Shoreside upkeep on dock & grounds.

· Keeping office clean.

· Loading & unloading trucks with forklift.

Our crews work the following rotation while working from our home port in Slaughter Beach, DE. At times our vessels work from remote docks out of state, while working those jobs the schedule may change, however it will remain equal time on/off. All crew members are required at times to work out of town as needed. Deckhands will either work shift work rotation or Mon-Fri 0800-1700, shift work schedule is below:

· 4 Days 0630-1830

· 4 Days Off

· 4 Nights 1830-0630

· 4 Days Off

During the above rotation, crews on their 12hrs off must cover as the second boat if needed. Any hours worked above your 12hr shift will be paid at OT. Above schedule is subject to change on occasion for out-of-town vessel charters. In the event 1 of our crewboats is working remotely in another state our crews are expected to travel to fill in rotations on that vessel.
