What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of External Audit Coordination position at Delaware Claims?
Delaware Claims Processing Facility has an opening in our downtown Wilmington, Delaware location for a newly created Director of External Audit Coordination. DCPF has been a leader in mass tort claim processing for twenty-five years. In this role the selected qualified candidate will use their expertise to:
Conducting audits
Performing comprehensive reviews of law firm activities, claim submissions, claimant data, medical and exposure data
Management
Leading a team of audit staff and a manager
Risk assessment
Identifying potential compliance risks from duplicate or potential fraudulent data
Data analysis
Analyzing data from audits to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern
Reporting findings
Preparing detailed audit reports outlining non-compliance issues, potential risks, and recommendations for corrective actions
Communication
Presenting audit results explaining findings and discussing mitigation strategies
We are looking for a dynamic candidate with the following requirements:
Certified Fraud Examiner preferred or obtained within 6-12 months
Strong analytical skills
Detail Oriented
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Ability to understand and explain data
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The following prior experience is preferred:
Experience leading a team
Healthcare auditing
Compliance background
Government or Investigative/Law enforcement background
5-7 years’ experience in any of the above industries
