What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Education Teacher (25/26 School Year) position at Delaware County Intermediate Unit?
The job of Teacher was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional process
by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas;
developing lesson plans and delivering group an individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students’ parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in job related area.
Certification Required: PDE Certified in content area (Health and Physical Education PK-12)
Experience Required: Job related experience is required
Minimum requirements:
- Experience working with students with special needs preferred
- Ability to work effectively and regularly with a computer and computer programs
- Posess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Posess excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- Posess strong organizational skills
- Ability to function independently
- Flexible and reliable
This positon will begin for the 2025/2026 School Year
Salary : $56,765 - $72,870
