Join our dynamic team at Preservation Parks of Delaware County (PPDC) as a Historical Farm Interpreter! Work alongside our Historical Farm Manager and Educator to bring the Depression Era (1930-1940) to life through engaging daily activities and public programs at Gallant Farm.• Historical Knowledge: Expertise in historical interpretation, agricultural history, and early 1900’s tools and equipment.

- Collaborate and Create: Work with our expert team to manage educational, domestic, and agricultural activities. Help develop and deliver creative living history programs and maintain farm collections.
- Hands-On Experience: Engage in various farm chores, from tending crops and caring for livestock to using a wood cook stove and chopping firewood. Plan, plant, and harvest garden produce.
- Engage and Educate Visitors: Share captivating stories and answer questions while dressed in Depression Era clothing. Demonstrate your knowledge of historical interpretation, agricultural history, and livestock care.
- Daily Tasks: Care for livestock, collect eggs, perform domestic chores, maintain displays, greet visitors, record attendance, and respond to inquiries.
