What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pump Assembler position at Delaware Elevator?
Delaware Elevator Manufacturing (DEM) is seeking a Pump Assembler to work at our Salisbury, MD facility.
Work Schedule: 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mon. – Fri. with optional overtime
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for assembly of products from assembly instructions employing high quality practices
- Responsible for prepping parts, building sub-assemblies, and building pump/motor assemblies
- Fasten pumps, motors, valves, and parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners
- Responsible for accurately reporting lot codes of components used in assemblies, and recording inventory and assemblies built
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Responsible for quality control checks and documentation
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Position Qualifications:
- Ability to read and work from shop sheets
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to maintain inventory levels
- Able to work in a fast paced work environment
