Position Overview
The Warehouse Driver is responsible for transporting products and materials, maintaining warehouse orderliness, and supporting inventory control. This role requires a skilled driver with a Class B CDL and a commitment to meeting deadlines while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Essential Functions
- Transport products and materials to and from various destinations.
- Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts and other equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Receive and check-in materials and freight as needed.
- Monitor and control inventory levels.
Position Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of on-the-road driving experience.
- Forklift Certification.
- Must meet acceptable driver guidelines.
- Ability to lift heavy materials with assistance or equipment.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience driving in urban and city environments preferred.
- Strong time-management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in maintaining CDL logs for DOT compliance.
