What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Driver position at Delaware Elevator?
Delaware Elevator, Inc. has an immediate need for a qualified individual to join our team. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Functions:
Assist Territory Manager with the following:
- Transport product or materials to and from various destinations, as needed
- Load trucks for deliveries; forklift and other material provided to assist
- Keep warehouse neat and in order
- Check in material / freight, as needed
- Controls inventory levels
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
- Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) required
- Must meet acceptable driver guidelines
- 3 years’ experience on the road
- Able to lift heavy material (with assistance or help and or equipment)
- Forklift Certification
- Maintain CDL logs for DOT compliance
Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Driving experience in city environment preferred
- Able to meet deadlines
- Work independently and as a team
- Maintain CDL logs for DOT compliance
