Overview
DNI is seeking to hire a Digital Marketing Specialist. Under the direct supervision of DNI’s Marketing Director, the Digital Marketing Specialist will work with the Marketing team to create and implement campaigns that enhance brand awareness and engage our customers across social media platforms. Responsibilities include creating and designing materials for digital and print, selecting colors, fonts, images, and layouts, and ensuring the timely completion of quality projects. Develop and schedule social media posts and monitor social media channels.
Responsibilities
Daily duties include but are not limited to:
- Support content creation for social media and web accounts
- Proven ability in creative thinking and marketing coordination
- Ensure brand standards are maintained across printed and digital materials. Maintain and organize current branded materials, collateral, and libraries.
- Assist team members in delivering successful concepts and executing them in a quality, timely, and cost-effective manner.
- Assist with capturing and analyzing social media metrics
- Updating social media programs and coordinating resources.
- Proficient with analytics tools.
- Assisting in the coordination and ongoing upkeep of internal files in SharePoint.
- Promote and support a culture that reflects the organization’s SHINES values
- Must work well independently and in a team environment
Periodic duties include but are not limited to:
- Help prepare marketing campaigns and events by assisting with shipping and other miscellaneous coordination of tradeshow and event preparation via phone and email
- Create visual elements like logos and custom illustrations
- Create collateral, including various merchandise for events, publications, and design materials
Qualifications
Equipment/Systems:
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Express
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams
- Proficient in using a PC platform
- Proficiency in social media software platforms like Hootsuite or Sprout Social a plus
- Proficiency in animation or WordPress a plus
Competencies:
The Digital Marketing Specialist requires a strong foundation in content development and creation and social media strategies. This person must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in an office environment as well as the ability to take direction and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time exempt position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; overtime may be required occasionally

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Graphic Design, Marketing, or Art related field, or a strong working portfolio with 1-2 years of experience.
- Proven graphic design experience
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Social Media content creation and strategies a plus
- Working Portfolio
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 1-2 years of graphic design experience with a strong working portfolio
