Overview
DNI/Creative IT Solutions is providing all systems administration and engineering skill sets for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) located in Oklahoma City, OK. We are currently interviewing for a Network Engineer to support this initiative in a 24/7 shift work environment.
An active security clearance is REQUIRED.
A Security Certification is REQUIRED.
This position works on a hybrid schedule.
This is a full time/permanent position with excellent benefits, and outstanding compensation including full medical, dental, 401K vacation and holiday pay.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer and maintain currently supported and subsequent versions of network offerings within a commercial cloud tenant construct
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP)
- Monitor tenant performance utilizing cloud based monitoring and alerting software
- Supported functions include but are not limited to installing, configuring, monitoring, operating, upgrading, patching, technical refresh, troubleshooting, deep packet inspection, network packet capture, quality assurance, and Return Material Authorization (RMA) network communications equipment
- Manage and maintain Palo Alto Networks and Firewalls
- Perform firmware updates for all network devices
- Maintain virtual networks, VPNS, and ExpressRoutes
- Author and continously validate TTPs for network maintenance activities
- Work with J9 infrastructure teams to troubleshoot network issues
- Manage and maintain F5 load balancers across all regions
- Monitor Azure network performance
Qualifications
- Active secret security clearance
- CompTIA Security certification
- 3 years of direct network engineering experience
