The opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a part-time Lead Porter to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. As a Lead Porter, you will take lead on stocking and delivering food and beverage items for the culinary team.

What will you do?
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of food and beverage orders.
- Deliver food, beverage, and other products throughout the facility, in an efficient and timely manner.
- Stock product in commissary; ensure that inventory levels of supplies are maintained.
- Ensure proper rotation of inventory following inventory procedures.
- Ensure that fryer oils are changed in compliance with the company goals and schedules.
- Report all needed commissary repairs to the supervisor.
- Keep work area and equipment neat and clean.
- Adhere to and enforces inventory and labor control measures; perform inventory counts as requested.
More about you
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Two years of warehouse or equivalent experience required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to read and interpret delivery forms and purchase orders.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory.
- Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions.
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 165 pounds.
- Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout the facility.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during the entire length of shift.
- Exposure to warehouse noise levels that may be moderate to high.
- Exposed to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season.
- Exposed to fumes from delivery trucks and other equipment.
