What will you do?
- Supervise deli operations including food handling and prep, cashier, guest service, stock and inventory.
- Responsible for staff training and compliance, deli cleanliness and purchasing.
- Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
- Review procedures and operations to improve service, performance, and safety, profit and loss controls.
- Ensure proper register, POS and cash handling procedures are followed.
- Other duties as assigned.
More about you
- Experience working in a fast-paced food environment with at least two years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Food handling, prep, sanitation and storage knowledge required.
- Must enjoy working with food and people with excellent customer service and guest experience.
- Will work without direct supervision, recognize opportunities and initiate projects.
- Be comfortable with employee relations to direct staff, implement and reinforce rules and procedures.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical requirements
- Requires ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Will stand and walk for the entire length of shift, bend, swat, twist at the waist, manual dexterity to grasp items.
- Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet and may require the use of step stool or ladder.
- Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, stock, work with mops and brooms.
- Exposure to and use of chemicals to clean and sanitize equipment and areas.
- Exposure to normal kitchen dangers including cuts, scrapes, burns and scalds.
