What will you do?
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas, ensuring adherence to recipe standards.
- Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to achieve perfect crust texture and toppings.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized and efficient work-flow.
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the pizza preparation area.
- Manage inventory of pizza ingredients and report shortages promptly.
- Customize pizzas based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
- May be required to perform other duties as needed to support the overall goals and objectives of the team and organization.
More about you
- Previous experience as a Pizza Cook or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of pizza preparation techniques, including dough stretching and topping distribution.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Basic math skills; ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions.
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat
- Work in a fast-paced and potentially hot kitchen environment.
- Basic knife skills and proficiency in pizza oven operation.
- Standing and walking for the entire length of shift in moderate to high noise levels
- Manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids and operate kitchen equipment
