Job Summary
Delaware Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a full-time Energy Technician II in the Weatherization Department for our Hamden location. Pay range to start at $20.92 per hour, 40 hours per week. The Weatherization Department assists households in reducing their heating and cooling usage by installing energy efficient devices, installing insulation, and completing health and safety related repairs. Responsibilities include managing an energy technician as a two-man crew installing energy saving measures and making health and safety repairs. The ideal candidate must be hard working, reliable, trustworthy, able to manage time of staff on a project, complete required paperwork for each project, and able to lift 50lbs. Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and 1-year experience in construction.
