JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Responsible for Reporting Workers’ Compensation claims to Insurance Carrier, investigating claims and monitoring claims.
- Responsible for communications with Team Members, Department Heads and Insurance Carrier regarding status of claims.
- Communicate with Medical Providers and document claim progress.
- Maintain OSHA 300 Log.
- Reviews accident reports to identify patterns of injury and to determine whether unsafe conditions contributed to the accident; advises departments of trends in injuries and proper safety procedures that may result in reduction of injuries; provides department with information that will aid in reducing accidents and improve safety.
- Documents telephone conversations, witness statements, medical reports, accident investigation results, and payment of medical bills
- Acts with utmost discretion and maintains confidentiality in handling all documentation and information.
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all projects assigned.
- Creates and maintains files, records, correspondence, reports and other documentation in an organized manner.
- Promotes outstanding internal and external guest relations.
- Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- One (1) to Three (3) years Workers Compensation experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
