The Capture Coordinator is a member of the Business Development Team who will be responsible for developing strategies related to new business and working closely with DRGs Proposal Team to design winning solutions to meet pursuit objectives. The Capture Coordinator reports directly to the executive in charge of Business Development to ensure that efforts in establishing new relationships and pursuit methods coincide with the organizations growth strategy. This position will have a heavy emphasis placed on competitive acquisitions and business to business (B2B) opportunities.
Essential Duties of the Position
- Responsible for ensuring all capture requirements are met and clearly identified in each proposal submission.
- Oversee the capture process from start to finish.
- Works with the Proposal Manager and supporting team to ensure all required elements for a submission or response are covered.

Assists with the overall strategy with the business development team.
- Performs market analysis, identify opportunities, develop and execute capture plans, and monitor competitor activity for each capture.
- Conduct competitive analysis to develop competitive solutions.
- Makes recommendations for price to win targets as well as teaming strategies.
- Assists in the pricing and financial build up and review for pursuits.
- Attend conferences or industry days as needed.
- Assists with transitioning successful pursuits to the program management team.
- Incorporates processes and procedures to align with contract requirements and quality systems.
- All other duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree, 5 or more years of management level experience, 5 or more years of military training support experience. Previous experience with DoD proposals as well as FAR understanding. Understanding capture management best practices, managing and writing proposals, excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines, excellent presentation and verbal communications skills, interpersonal, problem solving, and business acumen. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Familiar with the Federal Procurement Process. Must be able to secure a Secret Clearance.
