DATA ANALYST
The Data Analyst (DA) will support DRG systems by collecting data, analyzing, and interpret data. The data will be reviewed to identify trends, patterns, and insights that help make business decisions to improve operations. DRG systems will include but are not limited to Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), other maintenance/inventory collection systems, and Power BI. The DA will support program management by tracking inventories, create reports/metrics, and identify efficiencies within EAM. The DA will use Power BI to analyze data, communicate data in a variety of methods, and assist management in making strategic decisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION
- Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other data repositories.
- Clean and prepare data for analysis by handling missing values, inconsistencies, and errors.
- Ensure data quality and integrity.
- Conduct statistical analyses and perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Use data analysis techniques to answer specific questions or solve business problems.
- Interpret data findings and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Create visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards to communicate data insights effectively.
- Prepare reports and presentations to share findings with stakeholders.
- Communicate findings in a clear and concise manner, tailoring the message to the audience.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop data driven solutions to address business challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements.
- Provide data driven recommendations to support strategic decision making.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, 1 to 3 years of data analyst support or management experience is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI preferred. Familiarity with data visualization techniques, basic understanding of statistical concepts, and methods. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques. Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance, if applicable for certain software.
