Job Description:
AH-64 Simulator Maintenance Technicians provide Maintainer services to support simulator training operations for the RMAF. The Technician’s work focuses on repairs, testing, installation, configuration, upgrading and assisting in the modification of simulators and training components. This position is in Morocco.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assists with repairs and tests, installs, configures, upgrades, and assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware, and software.
- Performs general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices, assemblies, and components.
- Conducts functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted indicators.
- Assists engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment.
- Troubleshoots to isolate faults and repair faulty components.
Works under limited supervision.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor 1 years related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
- Must have a U.S. Passport and qualify for all visa requirements.
Desired Skills:
- 3 years of Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT) experience.
- Understanding of aviation regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of quality management systems.
- Understanding of computer hardware and software as it applies to flight simulators.
- Understanding of electronics, electrical schematics, and circuits.
Security Clearance Requirements:
This position is located at a facility that will require special access clearance.
