Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified T-38C Subject Matter Expert (SME)to work with our Courseware Developer. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in T-38C operations and instructional roles, with a focus on developing and enhancing training materials. The SME will collaborate with instructional design teams to create and refine courseware for T-38C training programs.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with instructional designers to develop and update training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and simulation scenarios for T-38C training programs.
- Provide subject matter expertise to ensure all courseware is accurate, up-to-date, and in alignment with current USAF training requirements and best practices.
- Offer guidance and feedback to instructors, supporting effective teaching methods and ensuring the successful implementation of courseware in live training environments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be current in the T-38C aircraft within the past 5 years, preferably with experience as a UPT (Undergraduate Pilot Training), PIT (Pilot Instructor Training), or IFF (Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals) instructor pilot.
- Recent experience as a T-38C Simulator Instructor in a T-38C ATD (Aviation Training Device) may be substituted for aircraft currency if the candidate has prior T-38C aircraft flight experience.
- Minimum of 1,500 total jet flight hours in U.S. military aircraft.
- At least 500 hours in the T-38C as a SUPT (Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training), PIT, or IFF instructor pilot.
- In-depth knowledge of T-38C aircraft systems, operations, and emergency procedures.
- A working knowledge of applicable U.S. Air Force (USAF) flying regulations and procedures.
Salary : $135,000 - $145,000
