Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. The candidate must be eligible for a DE teaching certificate for Elementary Grades K-6 and World Languages - Spanish Grades K-12; Specialized training / student teaching in grades K-12 and must be able to achieve a rating of Intermediate High or higher on the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages Oral Proficiency Interview (ACTFL OPI) and Writing Proficiency Test (ACTFL WPT) in English. Must be able to pass PRAXIS Subject Assessment - Elementary Education Mathematics Subtest #5003 OR RAXIS Elementary Education : Content Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics CKT Subtest #7813; Pass PRAXIS Subject Assessment - Elementary Education Science Subtest #5005 OR PRAXIS Elementary Education : Content Knowledge for Teaching Science CKT Subtest #7814; and must be able to pass criminal background check.
