What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapy Assistant position at Delaware Speech and Hearing Center?
The Delaware Speech and Hearing Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team! We are a non-profit agency founded in 1959 with offices in Delaware and Powell .
The COTA will work in our outpatient clinic providing individual and group therapy to the pediatric population. The COTA must strive to contribute significantly to the well-being and success of children and adolescents. The COTA will conduct individual and group therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT). Ongoing monitoring of the patient’s response to treatment and progress during sessions will occur in collaboration with an OT. Appropriate and timely documentation according to agency policies and procedures is required.
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program and possess current licensure in the State of Ohio. Benefits provided for those working more than 25 hours per week.
There will be a $500 Bonus at three months of employment.
