General Description of the Position
The individual is responsible for planning, managing and executing recruitment strategies as established by the Executive Director of Admissions within his / her designated geographical area; This position requires travel (if applicable) and extended work hours (evenings and weekends). The individual will conduct student interviews and counsel families through the application and enrollment process during high school visits, college fairs, parent nights, and in-office / virtual visits. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the review of admission applications and decision making. The individual must maintain knowledge about the programs offered at Delaware State University.
Essential Functions & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The following are the functions essential to performing this job :
- Assist in the direction, coordination and implementation of the Recruitment Program
- Manage assigned territory as follows :
Conduct student interview on and off campus
DSU Homecoming
